A Observation on Induced Abortion in Women Visited A Prenatal Clinic

Abstract
|
|
|
A observation on induced abortion among 483 women who attended prenatal clinic during the period from January to December 1972, was carried out.
The results obtained were as follows:
1. Induced abortion was experienced in 15.9% of the total women and this experience rate was increased with age and with duration of marrital life.
2. Induced abortion was performed 15.4% of the total pregnancies, and after the 3rd pregnancy, induced abortion rate was increased dramatically.
